Bridesmaid's

As a huge Saturday Night Live fan and also a massive Office fan, I knew I had to give this movie a watch! With Kristen Wiig (SNL), Maya Rudolph (SNL), Ellie Kemper (The Office), Melissa McCarthy, the amazing Rose Byrne (Get Him to The Greek), and some blond girl, this movie was well worth watching multiple time's and is almost necessary if you really want to catch all the one-liner's! Constant laughs, no dull moments, a must see!

It's about dang time!!

We FINALLY get Saturday Night Live back!!!!
I haven't really found anything too intriguing with the 2010 Winter Olympics. Of course it may just be because we got to see the entire US swim team including Phelps kick butt almost every night during the 2008 Summer Olympics! The suspense from those meets is pretty difficult to top!

your deeply missed................iPhone!

It's been almost 2 brutal days without my iPhone. Every second that goes by influences my hearty appreciation for the device. It may seem a little over-drawn but I can't fathom how I ever survived without it! It's AMAZING!!!! I have nothing to enjoy in the restroom, I have to just sit there now!
Why hasn't anyone text me?, oh wait, I don't have my phone!
I wasn't able to tweet when I saw that kid do that crazy thing in the snow!
I would have been able to read the Facebook invite before the event instead of after!
I have no idea where I even am anymore! I got to a dead end I had no idea if I was suppose to go right or left!
I could have responded to the newest fan page post faster and still have that fan!
I would have had 1 email at a time instead of 2 BILLION when I got home!
I'll most likely never know what the temperature actually was/is these few days or if it was suppose to snow or not.
I couldn't scan the things I wanted to buy to see if any other store had them for cheaper.
Without my iPhone how was I suppose to know it was her birthday?!
Until I get it back I'll never know what the name of that movie was I was trying to think of either.
I have no idea where the closest Starbucks is or where I should eat tonight.
I feel like I'm missing out on life right now!

I miss you iPhone, see you tomorrow I hope!

Although the iPhone is incredibly amazing these statements aren't 100 % accurate, I can still technically live and have fun without my iPhone but with it life's just that must easier!!!

Oh they're good......

It's crazy how close the SNL cast get on their impersonations. This Fred Armisen as Obama skit is pretty dead on and if you haven't seen this you just have to! Also, I'm sure we've all seen or heard about Tina Fey as Sarah Palin!
I was trying to watch this sad story on television last night about this man whose child was abducted by his own mother without the man knowing. She fled to Brazil with the child and the father has been fighting for like 4 years to get him back and is still fighting to the date. Point is, I was trying to watch this interview of the man and although it was such a serious incident I couldn't help but partake in some laughter when the reporter would ask questions simply because the reporter was acting exactly like the cast of SNL portrays them. It was dead on and HILARIOUS.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!!

I've always heard the city is packed to heck during the holidays and this past Saturday I got the opportunity to see for myself.

The streets were loaded with people but most of all Santa's.
Saturday happened to be SantaCon on the streets of NYC and it was amazing to see the holiday spirit spread in such a way.

I might just have to be a part of it next year. I wish I would have known, I would have dressed up this year and brought a couple cans of food along, oh well!

This was only a tiny moment in my mission alone on the city streets.

I made my way through the billions of glowing billboards in Time Square.

While on the move I ran into some more Santa's. These ones didn't look like they were a part of SantaCon though, they did some things I'm pretty sure you have to be sober to do!
After the 100 second show and discovering exactly where I was opposed to everything else, I decided to make my way to the Empire State Building.
Unfortunately when I got to the Empire State Building the line to enter the place resembled a line for a ride at Disney World on one of it's busiest days of the year. So I only got the view from the bottom.

I began to walk with no real destination.
When I began to run in to everything I wanted to see. Based on other post's it's a given that I like to watch Late Night so it was friggin' great running into the NBC Studios!

Of course right across the street was the one and only Radio City Music Hall where everyone was waiting in line for whatever the heck they were waiting in line for!

The entire city was decked out in holiday decor but making my way past Radio City I saw what I  thought was the best I had seen while I was there, bulbs on top of a fountain-landscape. Looked pretty cool!

While taking photos of these massive red bulbs a familiar character passed by, say what's up to Elmo!

I took a little walking break but I didn't want to waste too much time so I got some lunch from the New Yorkers dollar menu!
Made my way to Central Park and passed 2 sets of carolers.
The park was cool. Instantly reminds you of Christmas movies such as Home Alone or Elf. Horse drawn carriages stroll through allot like the taxis in the traffic but in a much more orderly manner.
One thing I noticed about the park is the squirrels, just like the pigeons in town they are use to people being around all the time and don't move when approached. I swear you could throw a rock at them and they wouldn't flinch, maybe just chase the rock to see if it is food, it's hilarious
!
On the way back to Bryant Park I ran into another Santa passing out flyers for an Art store. It seemed like every Santa was in mid-town but this guy. I felt kinda bad for him cause he was alone on this street where no one was but the guy was hilarious and the art store was pretty cool too.
I don't even know what this represented besides the very word but this looked pretty cool too.
After walking around aimlessly I realized I still had allot of time still left before I head back to meet up with the bus. I walked all the way back to Macy's to see what all the hype was about.
I walked in and immediately wished I hadn't. Thing was, once in, I couldn't just walk right back out, it was like a force was just pushing you through and the only way out of the packed place was making your way through the crowd to the other side of the store. It was CRAZY in that place!

I made it back to Bryant Park with hours left to spare.
Since Bryant Park is right next to Time Square and the sun had dropped I decided to make my way back over there to see all the lights shine even brighter. I wish I could have gotten some pictures of that before my camera batteries deceased but if you haven't seen the city at night I recommend it at least once in your lifetime!

It was one heck of a long and amazing day. I can't wait until next time, I'll have my santa outfit ready!

Step Brothers......

I bought it yesterday and can't believe I ever forgot just how friggin' halarious this movie is!

If you haven't seen Step Brothers,(and your over the age of 18, or is it 17?), I suggest you buy it or rent it immediately. You wont regret it but you might just want to keep a towel around cause it is very likely you may wet your pants!

It just comes and go's...

It seems like the Thanksgiving train railed by at record breaking speeds this year. It almost seems like it was never here.
This year was my first year ever spending Thanksgiving here, in PA. With games, food, and family in the mix it was pretty great.

I've always been used to a nice BIG dinner with just the few household family members in Florida and last year with Patti, Jeff, and Jenkins in Tennessee, so the change was definitely different but that didn't spoil anything, it was still a blast.
I really just can't believe it's over! It almost feels like we're not suppose to be celebrating yet but in reality Christmas is less than a month away!
All the leaves have fallen....
and now falls the snow!
