your deeply missed................iPhone!

It's been almost 2 brutal days without my iPhone. Every second that goes by influences my hearty appreciation for the device. It may seem a little over-drawn but I can't fathom how I ever survived without it! It's AMAZING!!!! I have nothing to enjoy in the restroom, I have to just sit there now!
Why hasn't anyone text me?, oh wait, I don't have my phone!
I wasn't able to tweet when I saw that kid do that crazy thing in the snow!
I would have been able to read the Facebook invite before the event instead of after!
I have no idea where I even am anymore! I got to a dead end I had no idea if I was suppose to go right or left!
I could have responded to the newest fan page post faster and still have that fan!
I would have had 1 email at a time instead of 2 BILLION when I got home!
I'll most likely never know what the temperature actually was/is these few days or if it was suppose to snow or not.
I couldn't scan the things I wanted to buy to see if any other store had them for cheaper.
Without my iPhone how was I suppose to know it was her birthday?!
Until I get it back I'll never know what the name of that movie was I was trying to think of either.
I have no idea where the closest Starbucks is or where I should eat tonight.
I feel like I'm missing out on life right now!

I miss you iPhone, see you tomorrow I hope!

Although the iPhone is incredibly amazing these statements aren't 100 % accurate, I can still technically live and have fun without my iPhone but with it life's just that must easier!!!

1/2 A LUNCH......

Yesterday I decided to bring a lunch to work. It was one of those Smart Ones meals that you never get full off of! I usually don't bring any lunch to work because I don't like to take lunches, to me they're sort of a tease to actually getting off work and going home.

When lunch time came I went into "the hub" and pulled out my Oriental Chicken and threw the "half a lunch" in the microwave. While waiting I realized one horrible thing, I forgot to bring utensils! I searched the rooms cabinets up and down until I found a few boxes of plastic knives. There were hundreds of these little plastic knives but zero plastic forks, spoons, or even sporks! So, after a little frustration, I settled with the little white knife.
And there I sat eating my oriental dynasty hoping only to not cut myself on the way in!

Will Busta Rhymes bust a rhyme?...3D on NBC!

The BIG GAME is here again! It really doesn't seem like a year has gone by since I posted about last Super Bowl. No big parties this year but that doesn't mean no good food and conversation which pretty much defines a party, so I guess we are having a party!

Steelers vs Cardinals, that's crazy. I'm hoping it's a good game and this time around I cross my fingers in hopes that Arizona will CRUSH Pittsburgh. Since I live in Pennsylvania and the Eagles didn't make it to the Bowl, at work, play, the grocery store, everywhere I go I have to see people sporting Steelers gear. Either way I hope it really is a good game.

You know how when your playing a game with someone that might not know how to play, or the kids really young so you don't want to crush them. You let them win right, or should I reverse that, they let me win! It's the right thing to do. SO, if the Steelers happen to win tonight, I'm sure it's because Arizona just wanted to do the right thing, huh? haha!

Tampa, FL., 30 minutes from my home town of Bradenton, FL., is this years hosting spot. It would have been pretty crazy to just be down there during this event. I'm sure it's getting wild and crazy! My brother works at the Hyatt on the water in Sarasota, most beautiful beaches ever, and Busta Rhymes and his entourage is staying there so I told my brother to make Busta Rhymes bust a rhyme and if he doesn't then throw him out of the hotel, haha! It only seems fair!

I was mad happy to hear that NBC is hosting the game this year because I don't know about you but I agree with Conan O'Brien and cannot stand Cletis, that little anamatronic robot guy that jumps on the the screen and starts doing warm ups and dancing and all that stupid stuff, so annoying! Because FOX isn't hosting we won't have to deal with Cletis and we even get a few new perks. I hope you grabbed your 3D glasses at your local grocery store so you can watch the commercials and half time experience in 3 glorious dimensions, haha! Seems pretty stinking cool, I hope it is! If your just passing by this blog and not sure when the Super Bowl even is, this is for you! Game is today, Sunday, February 1st, at 6:00pm eastern on NBC. Don't forget to grab your glasses! Hope everyone has a fun and safe time!

Hard Times

Almost every day I take a peek into the York Daily Record(local newspaper)in search of a second job. Work place's have been cutting hours and although I might luck out with the occasional delivery calls I'm beginning to wonder if the hours that I'm getting will be enough.

Less and less jobs appear each day, yet those ads asking you to place your own ads by telling you that you have something around the house you want to sell, and the ads from all those people hoping to sell their old car's or microwave even probably to simply pay rent for the month are growing and growing.

I've reflected the thought of going back to school and studying for what I've always enjoyed, photography and writing, maybe Photo Journalism. I still want to and hope I will have the opportunity one day but I'm glad I haven't just yet. College is a great thing but it can cause allot of debt and the chances of finding a good and well paying job are much less once graduated anymore.

It's not like I've ever had a problem getting a job. I have had plenty and almost every one I've applied for I've also been hired for. I have never in my life been to an interview that didn't go well or didn't result in hiring but never did I think that there might not be any jobs to apply for!

It's what all the fuss is about...

The sky on my way to work this morning was pretty awesome!(poor cell phone shots)
Within a minute and a half of doors, this was the site in the media section of the store.
Because I don't own a Wii I guess I just don't understand! But whenever we get Wii Fit in, the next morning is a RIOT! We can never keep them in the store and right now I wonder if the New Years weight-loss resolution crowd is aiming for this product too!?!! I wish I was the creator of Wii Fit right about now. As if Mario and Donkey weren't enough, I'm sure Shigeru Miyamoto and the people at Nintendo are pretty set financially for some years to come! So if your in search of a Wii Fit, Good Luck and enjoy it, it must be pretty amazing.

The Holiday Workity work work......

What a long day yesterday! I started off with some TV and Washer/Dryer deliveries around 7am and was actually pretty excited about it. I love to travel and allot of the time it doesn't matter to me where I'm headed or which form of travel it is, plane, train, car, boat, ......Delivery Truck!

We had 10 deliveries and it was raining and was scheduled to rain all day so I knew we were in for a long day. Our #1 issue with deliveries is finding the correct locations. We have a pretty dang accurate GPS system but there are times we run into small dilemma's! One of these dilemma's is locating a house or apartment number and the number isn't listed anywhere, not on the house or even the mailbox. So yesterday we approached this very issue only to, for the first time, see a pretty awesome thing.

(my cell takes crappy photos)

This home-owner took 2-seconds out of her 3rd shift schedule to to make this oh-SO-friggin' helpful sign! It was pretty great to see!

Soon after this delivery we came to a pretty difficult one. The delivery was a Samsung washer and steam dryer with 2 pedestals (below). After lifting the almost 240lb washer into an extremely tiny laundry room, aligning it with it's correct wall fixtures and attaching it to it's pedestal, then lifting the 200lb dryer and doing the same, we ran into another dilemma aside from our question of whether or not the door entering the room from the garage was going to shut with the massive machines in its way!

We noticed that the doors on the washer and dryer came together(as seen in blue, below), making it difficult and definitely inconvenient to transfer clothes from the washer into the dryer (if only we had noticed before!). We only had one option, we had to detach the washer from its pedestal, lift, and switch positions of the 2 machines (also shown below in white). The connections had to cross but luckily they were long enough to reach. And the washer and dryer worked and looked great in the end, what a friggin' relief!

We arrived back at the store around 3pm when I was actually scheduled to work the Wednesday night truck which has been getting pretty big due to the busy holiday season! I wanted to go home after the ruff day but seeing the size of the truck and knowing the lack of employees to work it I decided to dig into it, and get as much possible done for the rest of the guys. I finished diggin' completely through the truck around 8pm for the rest of the guys to take the product out to the floor and put up! 13hrs later I finally made it home and passed right out!

I go to the city on Saturday and I couldn't be more excited!
