Weight-loss weekly!

So Monday's are actually my weigh in days but for some reason I can never make it to my blog on Monday's to post, always resulting in a Tuesday post that says "Yesterday was weigh in day!"

Well today is Tuesday and yesterday was weigh in day! I weighed in at an unbelievable (for me) weight of 244lbs! My goal weight was 245lbs meaning I lost 1 more pound than my goal with 4lbs total in the weeks lost! My total loss to the date is 28lbs! Goal for next weigh in is 241lbs!

I can't even believe I'm weighing in in the 240's so quickly. Results have got to be one of the GREATEST motivations and I definitely need it to keep on truckin'!

Weight-loss Weekly!

I had an okay week but Valentine's day was definitely one of the largest temptation days of my lifetime. It wasn't easy by any means but I pulled through. There still is allot of chocolate around the house, some basic candy bars or some sort of high calorie treat, and some are the better well portioned 100 calorie packs. The only thing about the 100 calorie packs and 60 calories snacks is that it can be SO flippin' difficult to limit yourself to just one pack at a time. Especially when it comes to the Mister Salty chocolate covered pretzel packs!!

Today is Monday which means "weight-loss weekly"! I weighed in today at 248lbs resulting in a loss of 5lbs for the week beating my weekly goal of 3lbs! My total loss to the date is 24lbs and counting. It seems like things just get better and better as I proceed in breaking through walls! Next weeks goal is 245lbs.

Remember: Mister Salty is only your friend when he is alone. But when he is joined by ALL of his buddy's or all of his clones it will get bad! ONE PACK AT A TIME!!

2 knees.....1 Leg....

I was not fortunate enough to watch the New Orleans Bowl but my leg aches just watching this clip.

Deandre Brown of Southern Miss.

He looks like he has another knee underneath his knee! He was simply running a route, how the heck does that happen!?! OUCH!

NFL Fantasy Files......

I don't know if you've seen some of these fantasy file ads but some of the things these guys can do are amazing! Check out this fantasy file ad with Laurence Maroney from the New England Patriots...

If you liked that one then you should definitely check out some of the others right here! CRAZINESS!

Weight-loss weekly

I'm sure you've been wondering where the heck I've been, (right!)! It's been pretty difficult to blog without my laptop up and running. I don't have allot to blog about right now but, today is weight-loss weekly!
I've never been real into at-home workout dvd's. I've always considered them lame or too boring but recently I bought this dvd and it kicked my butt already. When it's too cold outside to run and you can't afford a gym membership this is definitely an alternative! I never thought I would catch myself saying that but it works!

After last weeks mishap I knew I couldn't foul around this week. I broke through the wall and this week I weigh in at 253lbs beating my goal of 254lbs by 1lb. My goal for next week will be 250lbs! Let's do this!

Weight-loss Weekly

This week was a bad week for weight-loss weekly. With the hype of the Super Bowl and the knowledge of both sweet-sugary and salty-cheesy treats not hiding around the house did me in!
I have reached the same dilemma that I failed to overcome in my first weight-loss weekly attempt and this time around I am glad I am realizing the fault so I can push threw it. On the path, myself and probably allot of other people too find themselves running into tall unclimbable walls and usually coming across more than just one wall on the entire journey. In the long run it's busting threw those wall's that makes ALL the difference. I have to bust threw my first wall right now!

This week I way in at a repeat weight of 257lbs. I have done the opposite of my initial goal and gained 3lbs instead of losing 3. At 254lbs as my goal for next week, I am at the same goal from 2 weeks ago. And at 15lb, the only thing that went down for me this week was my total weight-loss to the date.

Gaining when trying to lose sucks but I'm just glad it wasn't anymore of a gain than it was. With the cold weather and no gym access since my 10 day trial at LA Fitness expired it's making it really hard. All I can do now is get back the motivation I started with and that's exactly what I'm going to do! I got this!

Weight-loss Weekly

Yesterday was weigh in day. I made it through a pretty ruff week. An unsuccessful detox drink forced 2 days of starvation upon me and a failed attempt against the temptation of a hovering craving for Olive Garden's bread sticks and alfredo dip had me frustrated at the thought that I might not even make my own 3lb goal for the week.

Luckily I did. I weighed in at 254lbs just barely meeting my exact goal for the week. My total weight lost to the date is 18lbs in 3 weeks. My goal for next weeks weigh in is 251lbs. I have about 3 more days left on my 10 day trial at LA Fitness so maybe I can reach my goal before that ends, I guess we'll see!

It's a MIRACLE!

Today I start this 48hr cleansing/detox drink. I've never done a cleanse before but you can't do anything for the 2 days. You can't eat, drink caffeine, smoke cigarettes (cause I smoke so many cigarettes!). My stomachs probably going to be more pissed at me then Hollyfield was when Tyson got the munchies during the fight. I am pretty excited about it anyway, it'll be a pretty huge help to my weight-loss.

WEIGHT-LOSS WEEKLY

It is in fact weight-loss weekly! We finally got some snow today and it was cold enough for it to stay on the ground. It's about time we actually see some even though there isn't enough just yet. After work I decided to head over to this open gym basketball game I've been hearing about at some school. I was pretty excited because it's way too cold to work-out outside and I don't have quite enough money to join a gym. So I drank half of a 5 hour energy and got ready to play. So I pull up to the school, walk up to the front doors and this is what I see.
(The building will be closed Monday January 19.)
I knew it was MLK day and school's were out for kids but I didn't think that would stop anyone from playing some ball. Because I drank half of one of those 5 hr. dealio's I knew I couldn't just go home and sit there so I did my next resort.

I had noticed a gym called LA Fitness. From working at a gym, I knew most gyms give away like 2 week memberships for all first timers and go on a schpeal to make you think they're treating you differently, as if they like you allot more than anyone else who comes in so they decide to do you the HUGE favor! This gym has a indoor court so I drove over and sure enough they gave me a 10 day free trial! I got a good 2 hour workout to get the energy out of me although I could have kept going if the gym hadn't closed!

So here is where I stand! Today I weigh in at 257 beating my goal for this week of 259 by 2 pounds with a total of 5 pounds lost this week and a grand total of 15 pounds lost to the date. My goal for next week will be 254, cheer me on!

Weight-loss Weekly

Today is weigh in day! My goal for this week was 269lbs and I am happy to say I weighed in at 262lbs this morning making a total of 10lbs lost in my re-beginning week!

There are a few different factors that I believe caused this result. First, this week I focused on my eating. I've eaten allot less and allot healthier foods which definitely had ALLOT to do with the loss, but also, the night before I weighed myself in last, I joined family in watching an Eagles game at my grandmas and drank a pretty good amount of beer which I think might be a key reason in why I weighed in at 272lbs last Sunday!

All of that aside I weighed in at 262lbs which makes my goal for next week 259lbs. I'm off to a dang good start, or should I say restart!!

CRAZINESS...

My day is starting way too late! I stayed up pretty late last night, until about 3:00-3:30am, well before the sun comes up. I set my alarm for about 8am and hadn't heard it go off yet when I noticed that it was dim outside. I automatically assumed the sun was rising as I peeked over at my phone to notice the time of 3:34pm! The sun was setting!

I have done this before, maybe twice, once like 5 months and once when I was a senior in high school, I had graduation rehearsals at 5pm, I woke up freaked thinking I was going to be crazy late but it turned out to be 5am! I freaked out because if you miss rehearsals you cant graduate, it was hilarious!

I hate it every single time it has happened but at least the one time it was good for a few laughs. This time around really sucks because with the weight-loss schedule just starting yesterday it's important that I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch, I pretty much missed both. I blame it on the Pm's I took to fall asleep. Luckily I don't work today!

Now, at about 4pm, I START my day!

Weight-loss Weekly is re-born....

This time around I am weighing in at exactly 10lbs heavier than when I started this gig back in the beginning of July! At 272lbs I'm wishing nothing more than having never stopped when I did. My last weigh in, before today, I weighed in at 247lbs meaning I have gained 24lbs throughout my 21st Birthday and The festivities over the holiday season.

I have to make a huge change, starting today! At 272lbs, my goal for next week will be 269lbs! Wish me luck as I give this another shot without knocking on wood! This would be a heck of a lot easier if pops wasn't munchin' on these bad boys right next to me! Don't give in to the temptation, don't give in!

MMM mm Merry Christmas to me!

Tomorrow is the beginning of the re-birth of weight-loss weekly! I got a $25 gift card to Chili's for Christmas and I knew today was going to be the best time to use it. I got the gift card simply because I cant get enough of this one new menu item.

Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crisper's! They are amazing every single time i get them, especially washed down with an ice cold beer! If you haven't tried these you should definitely give them a try A-SAP. Merry Christmas to me and to you too, go enjoy it!!!!!!

It's what all the fuss is about...

The sky on my way to work this morning was pretty awesome!(poor cell phone shots)
Within a minute and a half of doors, this was the site in the media section of the store.
Because I don't own a Wii I guess I just don't understand! But whenever we get Wii Fit in, the next morning is a RIOT! We can never keep them in the store and right now I wonder if the New Years weight-loss resolution crowd is aiming for this product too!?!! I wish I was the creator of Wii Fit right about now. As if Mario and Donkey weren't enough, I'm sure Shigeru Miyamoto and the people at Nintendo are pretty set financially for some years to come! So if your in search of a Wii Fit, Good Luck and enjoy it, it must be pretty amazing.

new year's eve

Tonight is a big night! It seems futuristic to say it will be the year 2009. Reminds me of being a young kid and Ben, Zack, or whoever would say "In like 2009 I'm going to drive my parents station wagon all the way across the world, giggidy"! and I'd respond with "yeah right dude, your not driving anywhere, you can barely ride your Huffy and besides, by the year 2009 there won't even be regular cars, EVERYONES car is going to fly, its going to be awesome"!

New Years is one of the leading motivational days of all times. You hear friends, family, co-workers, clients, pretty much everyone starts their conversations with "You know what I'm going to do this year" when on the subject of New Years. And you would respond with a "loose weight!" even if the person clearly didn't need to! It's a new beginning to start whatever the heck it is that you've ever wanted to start. Some people learn an instrument, some change their attitudes. Then some discipline themselves when the New Year motivation disappears and succeed and allot only last about a month if that.

So I ran many ideas through my head on just how I want to start my 2009 off and came up with pages full of things I want to do. Leading the list with a resolution that I would say is most-popular on peoples list of resolutions. Gyms across the world make millions because of everyones sudden want and urge for it. WEIGHT-LOSS!

I've concluded that one day this week, the first week of the year, I am bringing back the very part of my blog that took a sudden disappearance  after an extremely ironic post titled "Knock on Wood"! I am bringing back Weight-loss Weekly and picking 2009 up where I left it on July 28th, 2008 ! It's going to be so freakin' tuff with literally freezing weather and still not having an indoor gym membership!

Thats just one of my top resolutions! I also want to write allot more and learn more about writing, sky dive, travel to even more places, there's so many things I want to do!

So what do YOU want to do this year, what are YOUR resolutions!? I'd love to hear em', it's your turn, shoot

Knock on Wood....

(old photo from back in FL, little secret, I miss FL soooooo bad) This week friggin' flew by! I have been busy working 2 jobs all week and watching Bubba and haven't been able to blog. It feels like my last weigh in was just yesterday! But today is Monday yet again. Today I weigh in at 247lbs beating my goal yet again of 249lbs. I have lost a total of 15lbs in three weeks, this week beggining my fourth week. Feels wicked good! Although I struggled pretty bad to run every night after working long shifts and 2 jobs and I did miss a running day but I still beat my goal and I'm stoked for that. I'm sure I'll struggle even more this week, but I got this! My goal for next Monday will be 244lbs. I see a pattern I'm liking, I just really hope I didn't just knock on wood!

I'm a day late...

Yesterday started off just as lame as any other day, with work. I bank with Bank of America and had plans to drive about 20 minutes away to Lancaster where the closest Branch is. I've only recently moved to this town but cannot comprehend why the hell there is no Bank of America here, (there's every bank but Bank of AMERICA). So I leave for the closest branch right after work after getting off a little late and knowing the bank closes at 4. Sure enough I ran into traffic and didn't make it in time.
This is a HUGE bummer to me simply cause the outrageous gas prices and the fact I drive a gas gusler.
My uncle and family went out of town yesterday morning so I'm staying at their house to watch Bubba. I'm actually really stoked about it. The dog is great. He always comes off as a mad barker and way too hyper when you first meet him. But he's not always like that. Five minutes into my stay he settled down. He's an awesome dog!You may have noticed I'm a day late on the weight-loss blog! I didn't have access to wireless last night and was unable to post. Yesterday I weighed in at 252lbs. My goal for the week was 254lbs putting me well over my goal. Again, another week of good progress! Next weeks goal will be 249lbs and it'll feel great to progress back into the 240's. I have lost a total of 10lbs and I'm not stopping anytime soon! I'm still just excited as I was when I first started, if not more. Get excited with me!

Sky Rocketing....

Just experimenting, I'm pretty excited about how this shot of my cousin turned out.

I just had a random thought. I don't know if you remember, but sometime back I posted about a new activity for my blog, and called it Photo Weekly! I've realized I love ALOT of friggin' photography and it is way too tough to post a favorite each week. Also, I try to post a photo on each blog, at least one. It looks like I have replaced this activity with the most recent Weight-loss Weekly, and it's going great!

I have been running every night since I started exercising more and it's getting a little more tuff each night but in a weird way. It isn't tuff as in hard to run, but when I started it didn't take long for my heart rate to sky rocket at all and I think I liked it better that way, haha. Now I get to a spot when I run that is too comfortable. And I myself believe that once your in a comfortable spot you make it harder in order to raise your heart rate. So now instead of running one lap before my heart rate is up, I have to run much more! That's the kind of tuff I was talking about. Tomorrow is a resting day,(except for my 9 hours working at a place I can't even take working 2 hours at, I hate the place) which is great because my knees, calves, hamstring, and even the groin a little, are KILLIN' me! I guess the mad jump roping doesn't help! But I am definitely shedding pounds!

Weekly Weigh In #1

Todays the day. One week down and it feels pretty stinking great! Of course today is my first weigh in and if you remember from last Monday my goal for this week was a weight of 259lbs. After daily track nights, running my butt off a little easier and further each night and balancing my meals, I am happy to say I have reached my goal weight and then some. I have weighed in at 257lbs this morning with a total loss of 5lbs this week. 2 more lbs than my original goal. Great first week. Maybe I can do even better next week. Next weeks goal weight will be 254lbs. Wish me luck, and again, if I don't reach it send me some negative comments for motivation. I greatly appreciate all the support! I am excited for the weeks to come not only for myself but those who chose to participate with me, my sisters Kelly and Patti and my buddy Jeremy. Thanks!

Weightloss Weekly

So todays post is a pretty familiar post. It has anything and everything to do with weightloss. I always try to get back into my steady and active weightloss lifestyle like you may remember from my past posts, "Exercise!" or "It's Lunch Time Kids", but it is much more difficult to get back into the life change than it is to retreat from it! I worked at a gym called Lifestyle Family Fitness in Bradenton, FL. for almost 4 years and know how to get into shape but since I moved and no longer work for a fitness club, I have lost the daily motivation and neccesities that come with athletic club employment. In the last few months I have picked up a horrible habbit upon my other not-so-good but not horrible eating habbits. That habbit is massive energy beverages. My new weightloss plan will give me the energy that I need that simply eating right and exercising regularly does provide! So I'm sure your looking for the main point of this blog and here it is. I'm starting my weightloss plan today. My plan is a jump-off of the hit show Celebrity Fit Club. I've set chart plans and goals. My plan cosists of monitoring my weight each week and to hopefully lose about 2 pounds per week which could add to about 104 pounds lost towards the end of the year. A pretty good deal so long as I stick to it. Which comes to my point. I plan on using my blog as a motivation to consistantly post my lost weight each week. Today it begins at a weight of 262lbs (all muscle!) Next weeks goal is 259lbs. If I don't reach it send me some negative comments, either way it will be a pretty good adventure, so here I go!
